DeciZium ([url=www.decizium.com][/url]) is a dynamic start-up company located in Mons, Belgium. Our ambitious Your Tour ([url=www.yourtour.com][/url]) project involves developing and marketing a unique computer system to plan customized travel over the Internet (a personal tour planner).

In order to develop our company, we are seeking a candidate with immediate availability:

DEVELOPER SPECIALISED IN OPERATIONAL RESEARCH (male or female)

Your Responsibilities:

- Analyze deciZium's development needs from a mathematical point of view.
- Conceive and program professional, fast and reliable mathematical applications in C.
- Develop and implement decision support systems (optimisation) for the Your Tour Project as well as a project dealing with the energy consumption of railroad transport.
- Plan out and conduct tests to guarantee the quality of our products and services.
- Write clear and complete documentation on the applications that have been developed.

Your Qualifications:

- Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research or civil engineer university degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience in the field.
- Extensive knowledge of Operational Research (optimisation) is required.
- Perfect mastery of C (or possibly other languages such as JAVA, C#, Basic, etc.).
- Experience programming mathematical applications. Experience programming Operational Research applications is a very important asset.
- Skills in web development (HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, web services, AJAX) and/or graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) are assets, but are not required.
- Active knowledge of English and good written communication skills (in French or English). Other language skills are a plus, but are not required.
- Proven ability to work in detail with great precision.
- Rigorous organization of your work and effective multi-tasking skills.
- Dynamic and motivated.
