?Mission
You will join a team made up of operations research scientists and data scientists. You will design, implement and maintain our inventory optimization solution which is constantly evolving. Your main mission is to continuously improve the core of our optimization solution by responding to customer needs and improving models’ performances.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing new features for our inventory optimization solution.
Implementing the appropriate unit tests.
Identifying chances for improvement for optimization models.
Reviewing code implementations from your peers.
Requirements
Master’s Degree or PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
Strong knowledge in mathematical modeling, optimization and combinatorial algorithms.
Practical experience implementing optimization models and tools.
Excellent programming skills (Python) and good experience in doing object-oriented programming .
Experience in using commercial optimization solvers such as Gurobi and Cplex.
Willingness to join a startup adventure and to build something big together!
Nice-to-have-skills:
Experience with data acquisition tools (e.g. SQL), analytics and data visualization.
Familiarity with simulation techniques.
