We are looking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher for an initial duration of one year (with the possibility of renewal) at the LGI (Laboratoire de Génie Industriel – Industrial Engineering Research Department) at CentraleSupélec Université Paris-Saclay.

The Future Cities Lab is a joint research lab at Centrale Pékin, in collaboration with Beihang University, CentraleSupélec and IRT SystemX. The lab is initially funded by Paris Region and the City of Beijing. The lab is concerned with the emerging topics in understanding, modeling and managing various urban systems such as transport, energy, water supply, waste and other areas.

Developing novel algorithms for designing, planning, and operating on-demand transport systems in an intermodal context. The focus will be on data analysis, planning, and/or optimization under uncertainty for on-demand transport systems in the context of large urban regions. The investigation of the interactions between electric vehicles and power systems will be an important part of the research.
