We are seeking two new colleagues for permanent lectureships in Operational Research.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Operational Research, or a related discipline, and have an excellent track record of high-quality research in an area of Operational Research or strong evidence of high research potential. They should have well formulated research plans enabling them to contribute strongly to the world-leading research being carried out in the School. Applicants with research interests in modelling and modern applications of Operational Research e.g. in healthcare, transportation, energy sector, risk, public and service sector, finance, analytics or data science, are particularly welcome.

The School of Mathematics runs a very successful suite of MSc programmes in Operational Research and the applicant will be expected to make imaginative and significant contributions to these, including through the supervision of MSc projects.
