The EWG-POR aims to build a network of O.R. workers across Europe, to enable them exchange ideas, knowledge, experience and learning about day-to-day O.R. in practice. Such a community will be an asset to its members, to help them individually to become more effective, and also to the profession as a whole.

We would like to invite anybody who is interested to:

- hold the date! for our first workshop, 15-16 February in Paris-Saclay, with keynote speaker Laurent Perron from Google. - and hold the date again! for the 'Making an Impact' stream at EURO2018 in Valencia. We are particularly keen to reach O.R. people working in industry, government, or consultancies.  Many such people will not be members of your society, but they will be alumni, or customers, or collaborators of your members; so we ask everybody who receives this email to share the information and invitations widely.
