Dear all,
AFG'11 is the 15th of a series of French-German meetings
which started in Oberwolfach in 1980. This time, it is organized
jointly with Austria, and it will take place in Toulouse, on
September 19-23, 2011:
www.math.univ-toulouse.fr/afg11/
The conference will consist of 9 invited plenary talks, 3 parallel
contributed sessions, minisymposia and one poster session.
The special orientations of the AFG'11 are the following:
- optimization in aeronautical and space engineering
- mathematical imaging
- mathematical methods of economics
However, we encourage submission of contributions in all areas
of optimization, including:
- continuous optimization, theory and algorithms
- mathematical programming and operations research
- convex and nonsmooth analysis
- optimal control and optimization with PDE's
- calculs of variations and optimal transport
- robust optimization
- stochastic optimization
- mixed integer programming
- multi-criteria optimization
- global optimization
- industrial applications of optimization.
We look forward to seeing you in Toulouse in September 2011 !
